Michelle Moses

Board Member


Licensed clinical social worker and mother of two, Michelle brings insight and creative approaches to the SRK Foundation.She is experienced in natural healing and holistic approaches to well-being. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, she now lives with her family in Santa Cruz, California.She speaks fluent Spanish and Hebrew, plays guitar and sings, and offers wellness and healing courses. 

Ram Krishna Sahi

Book Tuk Manager and Nepal Project Coordinator


Former school principal and experienced educator, Ram was educated at Nepal's Tribhuvan University and through academic excellence, qualified to study in Denmark. He championed earthquake relief efforts by comprehensively assessing earthquake affected areas to benefit those most in need. Ram is currently leading our Book Tuk program with the US Embassy as an educator and manager.

Amy Kaufman, President 

Amy is a experienced teacher, coordinator, and all around Renaissance woman. She has taught and organized many of the programs for SRKF since its inception in 2009. She holds a BS in Agriculture and an MS, ABT, in Humanities. She owned and operated a handcrafts business for 15 years as well as working as a wetlands consultant, forestry consultant, with a specialty in botanical identification. She plays the flute and loves animals and children. She is President and owner of Unity Art Collective, a Delaware nonprofit that aims to give artists around the world a fair wage while giving back to community projects in the countries where the art originates. Most of all, she loves being able to help so many children and families through this U.S. Nonprofit named in memory of her daughter, Shauna.

Holly Shah

Vice President


Holly is a founding board member of the SRK Foundation. She is multilingual, specializing in Asian languages. Her interests include art and science, and she loves teaching drawing classes through our education programs. A former intern for Governor Jack Markell, Holly has diverse work experience. She is currently a student at Hampshire College where she is studying Mycology. She is doing independent research in Zambia while also becoming certified to be a safari guide in Zambezi National Park.
